Ryobi Limited Plans Expansion, New Jobs for Indiana Facility

The investment is expected to preserve 170 jobs at the plant, which is a supplier to the automotive industry. Kentucky governor Matt Bevin made the announcement, and welcomed the infusion of funds to the facility and state as a whole.
The two casting facilities, located in Rzeszow, Poland, specialize in aerospace engine components, with technology for manufacturing and cost-efficient processes.
The facility, called Mincer HD, will be expanded in two stages. The first will provide for 30,000 metric tons of castings and include DISAmatic molding technology, induction melting, automated pouring and casting finishing processes.
HAI is a supplier of metalcasting resin systems, resin coated sand for shell molding and refractory coatings for North America. HAI will continue a strategic sourcing arrangement with Hexion’s Louisville, Kentucky site.

According to a news release, the sale was completed May 2, 2016. The Warsaw casting facility and a machining plant in Stryker, Ohio were included in the deal.
