The American Foundry Society, North America's largest metalcasting professional society and trade association, has released its mid-year "Metalcasting Forecast & Trends," projecting an 8.0 percent increase in casting sales in 2026, year over year.

The American Foundry Society is issuing a call for papers and presentations for the 131st Metalcasting Congress, April 20-22, 2027, in Cleveland, Ohio. Submissions are due August 15, 2026, paper uploads are due September 15, 2026.
