The American Foundry Society has announced the release of its new AFS Standards Process and AFS Standard Format by its Standards and Common Languages Committee. These developments mark a proactive step toward formalizing foundry best practices, solidifying AFS's commitment to clear guidelines and protocols for industry-wide adherence.
As part of the AFS Engineering and Smart Manufacturing Division, the Standards and Common Languages Committee plays a crucial role in upholding quality and consistency within the foundry sector. By establishing robust standards and formats, the committee aims to enhance operational efficiency in foundry practices.
