The recently-released “Spotlight on the Modern Metalcasting Industry” video produced by AFS and FEF has been viewed 3.847 million times since its launch last August! The 5-minute video aired 727 times on 124 different PBS affiliate channels across the U.S.
“Countless Americans have gained a greater appreciation for the metalcasting industry thanks to the PBS airings,” said AFS CEO Doug Kurkul. “The video emphasizes the vital role of castings, the importance of making castings here rather than overseas, and the tremendous careers our industry offers. It will continue to air periodically on PBS and additionally, AFS regional and student chapters are playing the video and distributing the link.”
The video has also been viewed more than 3,300 times on the AFS YouTube channel.
