The American Foundry Society invites submissions of papers and presentations for the 128th Metalcasting Congress, April 23-25, 2024, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Technical Papers & Presentations
AFS seeks technical papers and presentations on various aspects of metalcasting, diecasting, and foundry operations. Topics may include in-plant procedures, new technologies, equipment, products, and innovations enhancing metalcasting productivity and quality.
Key areas of interest encompass melting and molten metal treatment, gating and risering, casting process innovations, additive manufacturing, quality, automation, Foundry 4.0, finishing, energy efficiency, environmental concerns, and health and safety.
Management Papers & Presentations
Management papers and presentations focusing on supply chains, casting design, marketing, management strategies, diversity and inclusion, human resources, succession planning, education, social media, professional development, and student engagement within the metalcasting industry are also welcome.
