A new workshop from the American Foundry Society Institute teaches the best ways to improve training in metalcasting plants.
The Training Best Practices Workshop is a highly interactive one-day course providing a strategic view of industrial training. Students will get solutions and templates to support training at their facilities, with applications specific to their companies. The workshop will focus discussions on training for industrial operations and maintenance employees.
The Training Best Practices Workshop is offered March 26 and April 3 at AFS Headquarters in Schaumburg, Illinois.
The workshop is taught by Clarence Trowbridge, AFS vice president of education and workforce development. Trowbridge is the author of Maintenance Workforce Solutions: An Organizational Development Approach and Position Work Instructions. He has an MBA in organizational development and a bachelor’s degree in communications.
