The June 23 deadline to comply with OSHA’s new silica standard is almost here. What does that mean for metalcasters?
“Countdown to Compliance Under OSHA’s Final Silica Rule,” an AFS Members Only Webinar, will explain the latest on the silica standard, including the status of more than 50 frequently asked questions developed by AFS to provide clarification from OSHA on key areas of the rule. Safety and health attorney Bradford T. Hammock, managing principal of the Washington, D.C., office of Jackson Lewis, will review where the FAQs stand and answer questions regarding OSHA’s enforcement.
Remember, the deadline to comply with the new silica rule is June 23, 2018.
