SCHAUMBURG, IL - CastExpo 2025, the premier event for the metalcasting industry, is proud to announce Olympic Gold Medalist Dominique Dawes as a featured keynote speaker. Dawes, a trailblazer in the world of gymnastics and a passionate advocate for perseverance and teamwork, will share her inspiring journey and message of empowerment with attendees.
From competing in three Olympic Games (1992, 1996, and 2000) to earning four Olympic medals, Dawes has left an incredible mark on the sports world. Best known as a member of the "Magnificent Seven" that secured the United States’ gold medal at the 1996 Atlanta Games, she also made history as the first female African American gymnast to win an individual Olympic medal with her bronze in the floor exercise. Her accomplishments earned her a permanent place in the U.S. Olympic Committee Hall of Fame.
Beyond her athletic career, Dawes has continued to inspire as a Broadway performer, television analyst, and former President of the Women’s Sports Foundation. Through her various roles, she has championed leadership, resilience, and the power of teamwork. Her presentation at CastExpo 2025 will focus on embracing a team mentality, using failure as fuel, and believing in the power of dreams.
