The latest advancements and applications in copper-base casting will take center stage at the 2023 Copper Alloys Workshop, hosted by the American Foundry Society on Sept. 27-28, 2023, in Schaumburg, Illinois.
The 2023 Copper Alloys Workshop will bring together industry professionals, practitioners, and experts in the field of copper casting to educate and explore new trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices.
A full agenda of 15 in-depth sessions will cover relevant topics including green sand systems, gating and risering, metallurgy, additive manufacturing, quality inspection, and foundry safety. The popular copper casting defects panel is also returning – attendees are invited to ship a copper casting with defects directly to AFS or bring it with them for this interactive panel.
