A new member of the American Foundry Society Business Development team will focus on delivering superior services and supporting the success of corporate and individual members of AFS.
Kimberly Farrugia is the new AFS Business Development Manager, a role which includes serving as a liaison between regional chapters and AFS; building and supporting AFS’s current and prospective membership base; and helping members reach their technical and business objectives. She will also serve as liaison to the AFS Steel Division, working closely with Division Chair Robert Tuttle (Saginaw Valley State University) and the division membership.
Farrugia brings decades of experience to the job, having worked for the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) for 23 years. She has a degree from Michigan State University.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Kimberly to the AFS staff,” said Ben Yates, Vice President of Marketing & Business Development. “Her focus on member success, combined with her dedication to supporting manufacturing, will make her a great asset for members and a perfect addition to our team.”
Farrugia is looking forward to meeting many AFS members in the months to come. To get in touch, email her at kfarrugia@afsinc.org or call 1-734-308-1171.
