Anyone who manages employees in a metalcasting plant will benefit from a pair of AFS virtual “lunch-and-learn” roundtables scheduled for July.
The Take Me Out to the Ballgame Series will feature peer insights into hot-button workplace issues ranging from employee drug testing to family leave policies. Hosted by the AFS HR Division, these web-based roundtables are for foundry managers, HR professionals, supervisors, and others who handle the responsibility of overseeing employees.
The group-directed sessions will allow participants to share their own questions and ideas on all issues related to managing a metalcasting workforce. The first session, on July 15, will have a special focus on drug testing in the workplace and handling employee leave. The second session, on July 29, will include discussions on employee development, benefits, and recruitment. All conversations will be driven by the needs and requests of participants.
- Session 1, Doping in the Workplace & Swing and a Miss Lunch-and-Learn, goes live online from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. CT July 15. Click here to register.
- Session 2, Prepare for that Home Run & Rounding the Bases Lunch-and-Learn, goes live online from 11:30 a.m. 1 p.m. CT July 29. Click here to register.
