The American Foundry Society is issuing a call for papers and presentations for the 124th Metalcasting Congress, April 21-23, 2020, Cleveland, Ohio.
TECHNICAL TRACK
AFS is seeking technical papers and presentations covering all issues related to metalcasting, diecasting and foundry operations, including unique in-plant procedures, best practices, new technologies, equipment, products and other innovations that have contributed to enhanced metalcasting productivity, quality, and environmental health and safety.
MANAGEMENT TRACK
AFS is seeking papers and presentations relating to management, human resources, education, social media, professional development, diversity, inclusion and student engagement pertaining to the metalcasting industry.
DESIGNERS & BUYERS TRACK
AFS is seeking papers and presentations to help designers and buyers leverage the various casting processes to improve part performance, quality and costs. Topics include, but are not limited to, supply chain management, casting design, casting procurement, casting conversions, cost-effectiveness, resource efficiency, castability, process robustness and quality.
