AFS announces Millionaires Safety Award winners

Five AFS Corporate Members have been honored for outstanding safety achievements in their plants.

The annual Millionaires Safety Award from AFS recognizes facilities that reach a minimum of one million safe-hours worked without a lost-time injury or illness. The recipients were honored at CastExpo 2019 in Atlanta.

Achieving three million safe-hours worked was Oil City Iron Works (Corsicana, Texas). Achieving one million safe-hours worked were Charlotte Pipe and Foundry Company (Charlotte, North Carolina), Denison Industries (Denison, Texas), LeSueur Inc. (Le Sueur, Minnesota), and Neenah Foundry (Neenah, Wisconsin).

“AFS is proud of our Corporate Members’ commitment to health and safety,” said Doug Kurkul, CEO of AFS. “To reach the milestone marked by a Millionaires Safety Award is a great achievement, and we congratulate all of our winners.”
