Authors Ted Schorn and David Neff will be featured during a pair of presentations at Metalcasting Congress, April 3-5 in Fort Worth, Texas.
Neff is the lead author of the newly revised edition of Aluminum Casting Technology, while Schorn has a brand-new book called Improving the Effectiveness of Visual Inspection.
Aluminum Casting Technology, now in its third edition, includes information on aluminum melting practices, design, casting processes, and more. Improving the Effectiveness of Visual Inspection covers topics such as measuring inspection performance, human requirements for effective visual inspection, and handling damage reduction. Both books are published by the American Foundry Society, which hosts Metalcasting Congress.
Schorn will appear during a Meet the Author presentation from 2-2:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, in the HUB, Booth 517, a dedicated space at Metalcasting Congress for connecting with AFS staff and other attendees. Neff will be in the HUB from 10-10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 5, for a second Meet the Author presentation.
