Registration Open for Environmental Health and Safety Conference

July 13, 2017--New standards are coming to metalcasting facilities, but you can stay on top of the occupational health and safety issues by attending the leading environment health and safety conference in the industry.

Registration is now open for the American Foundry Society’s Environmental Health and Safety Conference from Oct. 31-Nov. 2 in Birmingham, Alabama.

Attending the conference will help you stay on top of the environmental, occupational health and safety issues that will affect the metalcasting industry in the coming year. After attending this event, you and your facility will be prepared to meet any new government standards.

The event features an update on the Washington legislative and regulatory developments, how to control air contamination, environmental health and safety for a small or mid-size metalcasting facility, and many other crucial issues. You can see an agenda here.

Conference attendees should also consider attending the Foundry Environmental 101 seminar, Oct. 29-30, at the same location in Birmingham. The seminar will provide a basic understanding of environmental issues and concerns encountered by individuals with environmental responsibilities in a metalcasting facility on a day-to-day basis. You can see an agenda for the seminar here.
