The AFS Southeastern Regional Conference, held March 2-4 and presented by the AFS Piedmont Chapter, gathered metalcasters in Charleston, South Carolina, to hear discussions on relevant topics affecting the industry in 2016.
The event featured a keynote presentation from Peter Reich, parnter, Laempe Reich, along with an opening address from AFS President Bruce Dienst, Simpson Technologies and a presentation from incoming AFS CEO Doug Kurkul.
The event also featured presentations from Michael Whitfield, Lodge Manufacturing, Pete Satre, Allied Minerals, Glenn Mosack, Conbraco Industries, Doug Trinowski, HA International, Tom Prucha, AFS VP Technical Services, and Nick Fox, Galesburg Castings, Inc.
The conference concluded with a tour of Nucor Steel Berkley.
