The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) issued its final rule to improve tracking of workplace injury and illness data earlier this year. The rule requires most metalcasters to electronically submit their injury and illness data to OSHA. And for the first time, OSHA plans to make this information publicly available on the Internet through a new searchable database. Beyond the electronic reporting, particularly controversial is the impact of OSHA’s new rule on employers’ policies for post-injury drug testing, safety incentive programs, and executive compensation and bonuses.
In this recorded webinar, presenters outlined the key requirements of the final rule and explained what employers must do to comply.
