2025 Introduction to Foundry Environmental Compliance

AFS Headquarters
March 25 – 26, 2025

Overview

This two-day seminar is essential for people new to environmental compliance related work, or those individuals looking to gain additional insights or revisit a particular subject area. The seminar provides an understanding of environmental issues and concerns encountered by individuals with environmental responsibilities in a metalcasting facility on a day-to-day basis. This will include practical-level instruction on compliance activities, permitting, reporting, record keeping, testing, pollution control and environmental management systems. This course is a practical prerequisite to the more advanced media specific seminars (ie. Advanced Stormwater, Advanced Air and Advanced Waste & Byproducts).
